I didn't think you could address the point, Miss Direction.

Heh..that's clever. I'll use that, but it doesn't apply to me.

I happen to think it's a non-issue that merely serves as a distraction.

I don't stop enjoying rainbows or believing in them as a reminder of God's promise because the gays have adopted rainbows as a symbol.

And I won't stop eating crescent rolls, enjoying a crescent moon, or praying for the Crescent City just because part of a circle also happens to be a symbol of Islam.

Quite frankly, the fact that I even have to defend that position gives me more pause for concern than the design of the memorial.

You are free to disagree as you have the need.

The issue is not whether anybody can ever "enjoy" a crescent again. It's whether a crescent is an appropriate symbol for a memorial to people killed in the name of islam.

You're entitled to your own opinion on that issue, I simply don't agree with it.
