I hope that the photographer who took that picture had enough humanity in him to take the dog to a shelter where it can be given medical attention.
My fear is that the dog could be ill from trying to lick the oil off its fur.

That story still does not give great confidence - note some of the words used.
Well, consider the source.

My fear is that the dog could be ill from trying to lick the oil off its fur. That's what I am afraid of, too. It's just so sad. We can't judge the reporter because we don't know the circumstances, but I'm hoping this pic and the Snowball story will be catalysts for more action.

I was never concerned about the dog, since there was no report of the dog being shot by the policeman or otherwise harmed. I was concerned and am still concerned about the little boy who is missing his pet.

My new tagline, do you mind?

Well if it is and Snowball is never found I would gladly donate some $$$ to buy this little boy a Bichon Frise puppy if he can be found

Goop® will get the oil and grease right off. I routinely use it on my dogs (seriously), and it leaves their fur shiney and soft. And I don't work for Goop® either, LOL!
