On Fox & Friends this morning, Brian Kilmeade was describing some very recent looting that occurred at the Hyatt. As reported by Hyatt officials, looters entered the hotel, overlooked stockpiles of water and food, took all the liquor in the place, and attempted to steal televisions. They then went to each bathroom on the first six floors and "wiped stuff" all over the walls.
When I heard the report, I felt that this may have been channeling of anger by some NO citizens towards Nagin. It seems that long after Nagin left the Hyatt there apparently were still supplies of food, water, and liquor. Granted being without power and running water is not comfortable, but it doesn't really sound like he was roughin' it too bad.

No, it doesn't sound like he was roughing it at all-too bad he wasn't still there when the looters arrived, so they could have wiped stuff all over him instead of the bathrooms.
Not condoning these looters, mind you, they need to be punished severely, but what poetic justice it would have been if Nagin had been there.
