Not Kyra Phillips? If so, I'd look for pods in her cellar.

Whoa, she's a babe. Someone call Roger Ailes over at FNC and tell him to hire her.

I didn't see the interview, but I listened to an interview with Pelosi and some reporters about a half hour ago...

They kept asking her over and over why she was not going to let any democrap representatives be on the bi-cameral and bi-partisan congressional investigation commission into the Katrina Hurricane "fiasco"...

She would only answer that it WASN'T BI-PARTISAN...but they would point out that yes it was, and she would say no it isn't, about 3 times...

then, she kind of got mad and asked how it could be considered bi-partisan, if SHE wasn't in on the planning of it????

Perhaps that TV girl asked her the important question..."If you don't let your dems participate, aren't you cutting off your nose, to spite your face?"

This isn't the first time that Kyra bucked the libs. And the Dems/Libs hated it then too.

Kyra Phillips Smears the Truth

we were listening to kyra phillips talking with (we think, we were in the other room folding laundry) bob “don’t call me al” franken on cnn this morning.

kyra and bob were discussing the rove situation, and bob explained how the democrats were calling for awol to keep his word and fire “anyone who was involved in the plame leak,” ie, rove.

kyra phillips responded with something along the lines of “so there’s a definite smear campaign going on.”

excuse us? a smear campaign?

well, you are sort of right, kyra, though two years too late. what rove did to joe wilson by outing his wife as a cia operative, that’s a smear campaign.

when the democrats (and republicans too, as well as citizens) demand that the person in the oval office keep his word, when people call for an investigation into possibly treasonous actions by a highly-placed white house operative, when people use facts as established by the memos matt cooper turned over to the special prosecutor to refute said operative’s denial of involvement, well, that’s many, many things, kyra.

but following the truth, reporting the truth, demanding the truth?

…nope. not a smear campaign.

get it? let’s go over things one more time, just so you can keep it straight, kyra…

secretly trying to ruin the career of a critic: smear campaign.

calling for justice to reign down on the head of that ruinous miscreant: not a smear campaign.

watching rove squrim: priceless.

I wrote a letter to CNN regarding Kyra Phillips’ statement. This really irks me. Seems most of those daytime cable news folks are on auto pilot. ANd it’s scary to see where her biases lie.

I sat by Kyra on a flight today from NYC to Atlanta. As a gay man, I can tell you that she is not biased towards Karl Rove. She is a very open, sincere and fair individual. I personally think Mr. Rove should rot in a prison cell. But, it is easy to take a statement that you don’t agree with and turn it into somthing that is much larger than what it is.
