"Please let this be the last one this year, and don't let it do damage to people and homes"
A local weather anchor was opining about how "close" we were to the end of the alphabet, and when we run out of letters, the next would be Hurricane Alpha.
Overkill, of course. But it did have a discomfiting Biblical ring to it.

Keep us posted Nauti, I have been watching it all day and it seemed disorganized compared to yesterday and wham suddenly its a Cat 1. Jacksonville weather guy says it will move east and loop, but beyond next Tuesday they just don't know. Guess I can hold my breath till I turn blue? LOL!

Whoa ... H-word now! Just got word of heavy winds in Indian Harbour Beach. The outer bands are doing theit thing. No wonder they moved the warnings a bit south.

Yeah, well this one is one of those that can't seem to make up it's mind where it's going, and those kind make me a little nervous.
I heard relief ships were having a heck of a time because it's right in the way, so some are seeking port, and others trying to go around it.

Actually, it is not going anywhere for 4-5 days..... How can it just sit there without moving in one direction or another for so long? It seems like the spinning would cause it to move even if no other weather conditions affected it. - just wondering.
