This thing has killed our weather for several days now. Drenching rains off and on. Cloud cover 100%. No rain for a few hours now though.
Volusia county has already opened a shelter in Deland. Tropical storm force winds are forecast for right along the coast.
Don't envy you at all with a stalled hurricane planted off the coast. Annoying, indeed.
I am right on the coast, the ocean is quite churned up and angry, wind is blowing about 40 mph, with higher gusts.
