I am CONVINCED this was a plan to make Bush look bad, NOT mere incompetence. And the Rats used the most helpless members of society to try and smear the President.

But you know what Miss Marple, it's working. They are smearing the president, they are hurting him. It's the same way a few weeks ago with Sheehan and the War in general. The WH can't seem to respond to this wildeye hysteria. Where in the heck are the administration officials debunking this crap, where are the republican leadership??

This administration has always run and hid from criticism instead of cutting off at the head. Sad, if they got the truth out they could shut all this crap down.

It's hard to get out in front of it when you have 95% of the MSM trying to get you.

I addressed this the night before last, in my vanity "A Memo to All Sunshine Soldiers." The White House can't get into a shouting match with the press right now (especially with Scott McClellan as press secretary, one decision that I vehemently disagree with the President about).

In the case of Bill Clinton, you will remember that his minions in the press, his advisors, and Republican office holders defended him no matter how awful the charges were.

President Bush only has the grass roots to stick up for him, as the office holders and the pundits are COWARDS!!

I've been asking that for 3+years --- This administration has the worst PR (since Ari left) of any admin since Carter. Clinton would have his minions in front of the mic's and cameras even before a negative story hit the major news wires. This administration waits days, until the PR damage is already done, before they weakly react. And Bush2 currently has the lowest rating (41%) of any modern President. Maybe Bush2 thinks, since he won his final term, he doesn't have to worry about PR.

No. CBS's own poll yesterday showed only 13% of respondent's thought it was the president's fault. The ass-rat's tactics are backfiring again.
