I'm not. I think incompetence and previous corruption and greed (levee money not going to levees) can account for it. Look at other cities which have been run by democrats for years. If Detroit had some kind of catastrophe, it would be handled just as poorly.
The "shituation" (made that up today, use it often and well) in NO has made me realize, over the past few days, just how similar the Big Easy and the Motor City are.
On H&C tonight JJ said the NO mayor and local officials could not build levees as they had no power over them. Hannity assumed his deer in the head lights look, and JJ went unanswered for his lie. Hannity must read from text or have his pat mantra, for that boy cannot think on his feet.
