Waco was pretty far-out too. Tyranny often begins with a false halo.

With all that slander and venom against Bush in that corrupt state, it may have been suicidal to set foot in there.

"It became a national security crisis."

Cute play of words. I guess the rats could have said the same thing about Waco.

...and again and again and again.
NO is sinking. It's not possible to prevent it from happening again. It's like throwing 'good money after bad'.

Not to mention that the corruption will see to it that once again the $$$ will be stolen.

Tin foil hat alert, however here it is anyway:

I have been puzzled why they did not evacuate the people in the Super Dome and City Hall when they had the chance, after the hurricane had passed and before the buses were flooded and useless. Could it be that Governor Blanco and the Mayor knew they had FUBARed it so bad that they wanted a federal takeover and were hoping the plight of the people in the Dome would be what pushed Bush to Federalize it without the consent of the State of Louisiana. They could have then blamed every thing on Bush, as they are trying to do now but it is not sticking.

What has really surprised me is the seamless operation between the Left of the Democrat aka Demonic-rat in getting out the talking points to the media and now the whole demon-rat party with rare exceptions is singing the same tune. "It is Bush's Fault." This whole operation stinks to high heaven and reminds me of a political War Room operation where faxes, calls and talking points are sent out. This whole thing smells to me. Where is James Carville?

I asked this question on another thread today. What does a President do when confronted by corrupt/incompetent local Government during an emergency and american lives are at stake?

The first thing he should do is consult the Constitution and Laws of the country and see if he has any power to affect the outcome. Only then should he act.

Anything else would result in a federal martial law takeover of the poor parts of all our major cities--after all, gang warfare is an emergency and american lives are at stake.
