A nice report (today) on fox showed how the environmental scum won in court to stop NO from increasing the hight (and strength) of the levees because of the wet lands.
There's a long story that will come out about the string of people that "caused" this disaster....enviro-weenies, courts, corrupt city government that filched money from the levee money....and so on!

Not a bad tactical move.
The insurance companies state that a disaster (such as Katrina) is not an act of God, but a manmade event caused by global warming, and deny any "Act of God" claims.

Al Gore was scheduled to speak on global warming this coming weekend in New Orleans, but although Gores speech to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners had to be cancelled because of the devastation caused by Hurricane KatrinaWhat a friggin loser Gore is. His speech is canceled due to the storm.Anyone remember his big global warming speech last winter in NYC? It was 4 degrees and snowing like a blizzard. LOL. LOSER!

Insurance companies, will going back to using draft animals and burning peat and dung for heat help your bottom line?.
