Got A news flash for ya.
REAGAN WAS NOT SO GREAT EITHER. BUSH has actually had to face much bigger crisis issues than Reagan did.
And Bush has actually taken action in a big way. So as far as a man of action.....Bush has more to his credit.
BUT THEY BOTH WERE NOT SOLID CONSERVATIVES. But we knew that when we elected them.

I think crap like this and talking well of the Clintons along with not ripping the N.O. government has brought Bushes polls down. Not forgetting open borders.
Well, whether you believe it or not, there aren't enough people in this country that even understand the concept of constitutional government for us to ever as a nation reach a "founding father moment". Freedom and Liberty have already given way to the socialist model of the nanny state.
No question about it, Clinton had all the good luck with the economy and Bush hasn't had much. Clinton lucked into the internet technology boom in his second term and there was a price war within OPEC in 1998 that drove gasoline down to $0.95 per gallon. It drives me up the wall when uninformed Democrats talk about how great the economy was under Clinton, when he did virtually nothing to create that great economy.
But I really think Bush's poll numbers will bounce back next year as Iraq stabilizes and gasoline prices fall back under $2.50. You can bet the Bushies will be pushing the oil refiners hard to boost production and bring down gasoline prices.
Steve Forbes, who I think is a pretty smart guy, predicted last week that gasoline would be back around $2.50 or a little less next year. I hope it is true.
