It is a simple back scratching technique used by all administrations. Clinton did not probe Bush #1 and left it alone. Bush # 2 will not start picking at the Clinton goons. The pairing of Bush #1 and Clinton is creepy. I agree with Peggy Noonan. Berger is ready to serve again. He will be on tap to work with the next Democrat administration. He is a true soldier for the left.

Bush invited him to the White House, where, according to the Associated Press, the disgraced former Clinton advisor was trotted out to voice support for CAFTA legislation. Bush is running with the Builderberg crowd. People without borders. Marx would be proud.

Sorry, Carl, but I had this pegged as a NewsMax crap-piece from the headline alone. There's nothing here but innuendo so pathetic that even a Democrat would be ashamed to use it.

Just another case of the Ruling Class taking care of the Ruling Class.
I can assure you that Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson has gone as far up that career ladder as she will be going. How dare she do this to a member of the exalted Ruling Class. I voted for Bush twice, but little things like this are souring me on him.

Sandy Berger also co-chaired a committee which criticized the postwar planning in Iraq. It's a strange World when people like Berger are held up as persons we should respect.

Magistrate Judges are usually the newbies in the Federal judiciary. I would have liked to have seen what a more experienced Judge might have asked old Sandy.

The pairing of Bush #1 and Clinton is creepy. I agree, it makes my skin crawl.
And Berger should be in prison.

It isn't up to Bush to forgive Berger. He committed a crime against the United States of America, not against Bush. His invitation to the White House is no surprise to me. Consider these historical facts:
1. Bush did nothing to investigate Clinton for ANY of his crimes while in office, especially China-gate and Pardon-gate, as well has Clinton's people trashing the White House as a nice little parting gift that cost the taxpayers money. Bush is obligated to pursue Justice for the American people not himself.
2. I was disgustted by Bush's patronizing of Bill Clinton at the opening of the Clinton libarary recently. Bush held Clinton up as a great President and wonderful man to be admired and respected -- a man who set the "oral sex is not sex" example for America's children, and besmirched the office of President of the United States. Yet, not a peep out of any of the pundits on that one.
If you or I did what Berger did, we would be in jail for years! But, because Berger is one of the Washington elite, he gets off scott-free! So much for Justice!

Does anyone still think Terrence Reed's Book; "Compromised, Bush, Clinton, Cocaine" is tin foil hat stuff?

This is one if the strangest aspects of W's administration. He simply refuses (and has from day one) to purge all the Clintonistas from his administration. They are all corrupt and do nothing but work to prevent evidence of Willie's guilt from surfacing. Berger stole documents that proved that Willie, OBL and Saddam did business in the 90s.
Sure, civil service rules might prevent some clintonistats from being terminated. But, at the senior levels, they all serve at the pleasure of the president. From Gorelick to Wilson to Berger, EVERY time W has put trust in a Clintonista, that scumbag has done exactly what Willie would have wanted. And, why W is giving Willie a federal platform to raise Katrina funds is beyond me. Willie only works for Willie and, sometimes, Hillie.
Do we have a record of the Clintonistas who stayed who have been caught?

Politicians suck. Hasn't anyone inside DC ever heard of doing what is RIGHT for the nation first and foremost? They'd better learn, and quick. "We the people" have about had our fill of this crap. Amen, FRiend.
It's getting so that you can't tell one side from the other anymore. Goddamn the political ruling class anyway! They are scarcly more tolerable than that we overthrew in 1776.

I think President Bush is taking the high road. And he's so genuinely nice himself that he appears to believe most people will respond reasonably to his kindess. Come to think of it, that's a trait he shares with Ronald Reagan.Stop right there! Bush is NO Ronald Reagan, period!

Par for the course so to speak. Remember the FBI files and Craig Livingstone, Ruby Ridge Weaver murders and Laun Horiochie(spell?), Waco Texas masacre of the Branch Dividian Church members and Janet Reno? No justice in those crimes either. Berger is a piker in comparison.

I think President Bush is taking the high road. It's a road paved with gold paid for by us. He hasn't done a single veto. The rate of spending is inexcusable. He did warn us, though, about the "new tone in Washington." A nice phrase that really means the incumbents (of both parties) versus the American people. The president's job is to be an effective manager and leader, not a nice guy at our expense.
