Is that off of Canal Street?
I still have a couple of Czonka's rookie cards.
God I hated the Dolphins.
I hate the dolphins too(I'm a Bears fan), but he was good...
Wow - watched him play at PSU...more years ago than I care to count! He was great!
He really knew how to run people over. :D
Larry Csonka
Must have been because he played college ball at Syracuse.
Wasn't Larry Csonka a dolphin????
Can't dolphins swim????
I think they prefer the warm water ;-)
Leni
No, it's off of Alaska. Close, though...
"Csonka, a former member of the Miami Dolphins football team and host of the television show "North to Alaska", has a son who is a Chief Warrant Officer serving in the Coast Guard."
Boy, am I feeling old!
You seen this, Tonk?
I made lots of money at the local tavern in the 70s on football sundays from people like you;)
Mike
I like your screen name...I once considered PearblossomHighway for mine...
Now I have to go Googleize Don Nottingham, "The Human Bowling Ball"...
And how often do you see that these days in the NFL? I pine for the days when running backs and receivers turned up-field and ran over people rather than running for cover out of bounds.
Old? Attended my first Packer game in 1950. Quarterback was Tobin Rote; running backs Tony Canadeo & Billy Grimes; pro-bowlers were Grimes and defensive lineman, Ed Neal.
You probably have me there. My screen name should give it away.
I remember Rote playing with the Lions and I remember Hornung with the packers.
Ah, the good ole days, back when they made touchdowns and acted like they had been in the end zone before.
