That is a good question. Maybe he knew she was at the home and that they were planning to weather the storm there and the series of calls Broussard was talking about never happened.

I want an answer to that question too, especially since the son was the head of the state or local emergency management office. At least, why didn't the son send someone after the hurricane to rescue the entire nursing home?
