Bless them. This proves that no matter how much hell you put people through, what color their skin is, or what language they speak, there are still decent human beings in this world. I wonder what % of that amount represents the average weekly income in Iraq. Those soldiers can't be getting paid very much.
Thank you very much, Iraqi Soldiers! Your gift is appreciated.
On behalf of the American people, the hurricane victims, and our military, I want to thank the Iraqi soldiers for this kind act.

Maybe this will help...

Great pics! The dogs seem to have foxish frames.
I worked at Taji for nine months. I've sent your message to a friend there. I'll let you know if he can get it into the right hands.
The majority of the Iraqis are wonderful, generous people.
No matter what the media says.
Between $600 and $700. It's a lot to the Iraqis - one American dollar goes a long way in Iraq.
Thank you, Col. Abbas and all the men serving with you.
I just looked this up on a map. I don't think anyone realizes that this is in the Sunni triangle. Wonder if these troops are Sunni? They are suppose to be the "insurgents". This is good new on several levels
Do you know if they are Sunnis? I just looked this up on a map. I don't think anyone realizes that this is in the Sunni triangle. They are all suppose to be the "insurgents" according to the American "news" media. This is good new on several levels if they are Sunnis.
Yes, Taji is in the Sunni Triangle. The Iraqis who donated were probably both Sunni and Shiite. The media grossly overstates the division between the two.
For example, I work with both Sunnis and Shiites in downtown Baghdad. They get along fine and don't seem to pay much attention to which sect of Islam they are from. They don't seem to care.
Not all Sunnis are "insurgents" by any stretch. Most of them hate the terrorists as much as we do. It is true that most of the "insurgents" who are Iraqi (a minority in the terrorist group) are Sunni - mainly former Ba'ath Pary members who were in Saddam's favor.
Thank you for the info.
