I agree. Much as I want every terrorist dead or captured, I can't bring myself to hate all Muslims.
Let's compromise and nuke Jerusalem off the map. That way, everybody loses- Christians, Jews and Muslims.

I don't know whether either of you know of a way I can send a personal note of thanks to the Iraqi's for their warmth and generousity so I'm going to post it here.
Honorable Col. Abbas Fadhil,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks for the donation made by your troops for the people affected by the hurricane Katrina.
Please know we understand the sacrifice many of you made in order to donate. Your donation has touched the hearts and minds of many of the American people. May your kindness and caring be returned a thousandfold to the Iraqi people.
Just as your donation will be used to help the victims of the hurricane, I pray America's assistance to Iraq will help to rebuild an Iraq into the jewel it's meant to be.
Again, thank you and I wish I had the words to express my gratitude.
Sincerely,
Sally'sConcerns

I returned from Balad about a month ago.
I never went outside the wire, but I know 1 million dinars is a lot in the local economy.
Tell them we said "thanks".

It's a quagmire!
It's Vietnam!
So....do you think faTeddy & Co. will apologize now? Nah, me neither.
I don't think they understand such acts of respect for the U.S.

Very uplifting. Reminds me that there is still much good in the hearts of many of the people in Iraq.

"Iraqi soldiers collected 1,000,000 Iraqi dinars for victims of Hurricane Katrina" It's a shame that the liberals and dumbocrats would rather see our soldiers come home and leave these people without our protection when we Americans promised them we'd see them through no matter what.
These folks in Iraq are just about the only friends we have over there in the world and we need to keep our promise and they will be our friends for decades to come, thanks to the sacrifices of our gallant armed forces.

Thanks for posting this article.
Human compassion is alive and well across the globe, despite the whining from the lamestream media.
Here's a heartfelt THANK YOU to our troops for making this possible. God bless each and every one who has served!

Wow! A month's salary! I know alot of American's that have donated their time and money...but comparatively, only a small number have given on this level. Thank you.

My son will follow your nephew to Iraq in January. This makes me feel a little bit better.
