Thanks for the comments, everyone.

As you can see, I wrote this vanity away back on September 10, but I still bring it up again. Whenever I run into a troll on FR, I always give them the link to this thread, and that leads new people here to read it and discuss...and that keeps it alive. It's like a good revenge, you know: the trolls coming here bring this thread back to life and generate new discussion on it. It's the thread that refuses to die.

If y'all want to look at another vanity I wrote more recently (this one's a long one), here's a link. It's long-winded but I think well worth the read.

Yesterday I had a troll on a thread I posted. Of course, he/she wasn't hard to spot. I left the troll alone, didn't report him/her. That troll didn't really say enough to report him/her. However, I was going back through the thread today. Someone must of reported him/her cause the troll was ban and the 2 comments had been deleted. LOL...we've become fast on the trigger these days.

In a way, I think it's ok. Instead of them in a stealth mode and when something is really important that's happening (like the first debate of W's re-election), they don't have the ability to come out of the shadows soooo fast and totally ruin the discussion thread. Which appeared to have happened...so many FReepers were bummed out by the troll's many many comments. We sure don't need that again...IMHO.
