29% is 8 points lower than how many Republicans voted in 2004.And the 33% who are registered Democrats - that's how much lower than the number of Democrats who voted in 2004? You might want to examine both sides of the equation before jumping to too many conclusions. It's to be expected that registered members of both parties are more likely to vote in an election than unenrolled voters.
