I don't have the patience to wait until the next election for someone in this state to be held accountable for their failure. Just as was done to Mike Brown, it is time for Republicans to start demanding the resignations of those local officials who were even more responsible than FEMA. This means that Terry Ebbert and Jay Mayveaux have to go; two political appointees who had more power and authority than Mike Brown ever had in Louisiana and New Orleans.

Does the state of Louisiana have recalls? They could try that on Blanco.

The mayor of New Orleans would be tough to replace...best chance to kick him out is in the Democratic primary...
