I dunno. Purchased with own money. 24-hour shift workers trying to get some substitute sun once in a while. Is this much different than if they'd bought a treadmill or some gym equipment?

This doesn't sound like something they should have their hides tanned over.

one could argue one has health benefits, the other doesn't.
unless it's light therapy for depression or something,but this doesn't fit that category.
