If I recall correctly, Mr. Gore couldn't get a comode repaired in 5 days for one of his renters.

Why, this is the very same convention where Doug spotted the celebs (Including our favorite anti-SUV screecher, Arianna Huffington) being dropped off in SUVs and limos!

Doug- This is just a little courtesy ping. Nothing new, unfortunately. Great work, though!

The hurricane was more than a week ago, and Gore is responding only now? Al is on the laggin' wagon.

This is to pathetic to be even laughable. And it is so easy to laugh at al gore.

And it is rather scary to realize this absolute dope could have been our president. What a horrific thought.

He is out there blaming Bush.

Billy Clinton is out there saying the government failed, his wifey in the crusty pantsuit blathering about how well FEMA operated under their administration>

For the life of me, I cannot imagine President Bush, even if he had lost the election to al gore, ever placing this type of unfair and unjust blame on anyone.

It all goes to character and remaining silent even if you strongly feel that blame can be placed for the good of a nation undergoing a tragedy.

How low can democrats go? Surely they reside in a bottomless pit. Their lack of statesmanship and integrity is offensive and childish.

Yes, this would be the same convention. Hypocrisy was served all weekend long.

"When the corpses of American citizens are floating in toxic flood waters five days after a hurricane struck, it is time not only to respond directly to the victims of the catastrophe, but to hold ... the leaders of our nation accountable,"

Go back under the rock

(or mushroom, bridge)

you came out from, Algore. You, or what you say, are relevent.

And don't forget your meds.

Didn't he have the tenants evicted when they complained about the toilet that didn't work?

Wait until 2008..it will degenerate into another anti Vietnam roll call..and there r plenty of RINOS that will remain silent partners in the sham. I want to see some republican attack dogs in the friggin senate...tired of all the games and lack of balls frankly.

Algore, had you been paying any attention while you were vice president, for 8 (eight) years, you'd have learned about the Stafford Act.

Unless you DO know all about the Stafford Act, you liar.

Gore?

Didn't he die, or run off to a commune somewhere?

I figured it would be. The thing that is most annoying is that they actually did it across the street, hoping folks wouldn't notice their hypocrisy.

BTW, you're linked up on the duplicate thread further down, too, just in case this one gets yanked instead of the other one. I forgot to courtesy ping you there, though. I'll go back and fix it.

Gore is such a contemptible piece of work, a monumental piece of cr*p worthy of being declared a national shrine just because of its size.

That's odd. I don't remember him blaming Clinton or himself for the 1999 heat wave that killed hundreds.
Where was he? Relieving himself after drinking too much ice tea again?
