"Both suspects remain lodged in the Northern Regional Jail, according to an official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and city police; however, a jail official early Monday did not have Ramos on the register of inmates and it was reported that the suspect had been released."
Certainly is interesting. As you said he's an obvious flight risk.
Thanks, I missed that. Damn, what a stupid release - a violent felony with no know address or employer or ties to the community. I wonder what the bail was.
