Thank you sweet lady. I checked "properties" on the "Boots" wav file and found why the file size is relatively small. The bit rate is really low, that is to say, low fidelity. While it sounds fine on computer speakers, on a good steroe system the degradation in fidelity would likely be noticeable.

The place has been run by Democrats since the Civil War.

The same could be said of the entire South generally....until recent times. Louisiana is sortof an exception. The corruption in Louisiana, and Nawlins in particular are legendary. One item of note(I think) is that fully one fourth the state's population reside in the Nawlins area. Their metro population as a percentage of total population is probably the highest in the country(open to discussion).

Believe it or not, "race" riots have been around since at least the early 1800's in one form or another. Small scale for the most part with only a few or a few dozen souls buying the farm. Oddly enough(or not) the instigators(under various guises) were whites set against other "minorities". That seems to have changed around the middle of the 20th century, maybe earlier, when blacks began to come unglued.
