"Gov. Blanc-hole, bany brother Lt. Gov. Landrieu, and their hirelings are radioactive and must be prosecuted/sued for the human and dollar losses because of their gross negligence."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Someone yesterday (can't remember now who) posted that no officials will be prosecuted -- because of something called
Sovereign Immunity
http://www.lectlaw.com/def2/s103.htm
I'm no lawyer so don't know if this in fact is absolutely true. Maybe someone else knows.
Also, the extensive Moon Landrieu family have their hands on the bench and Prosecutor's office, and I suspect, under the tables.
Sue them in federal court if they plead "Lon Horiuchi", the protected class above the law. They violated their own emergency protocols, like Step 1 and knowingly thwarted the Republican feds' interventions.
IMHO, several office holders should be cuffed, stuffed, tried and hanged pursuant to law and common sense.
It's true. Governments are immune by default, but can, if they want, give their subjects limited recourse.
The immunity is nominally for official acts within the scope of their authority, and is not a blanket immunity for criminal activity.
