Ya, and Hitler told everyone he was winning right up to the end too. Sort of like Saddam's disinformation minister. What a crock.

"they cannot use military expenses in their favour and have not been able to end insecurity in Iraq"

We have done the former, and only Iraqis can fully do the latter.

So we're supposed to need the view of Iran to understand our involvement in the REGION...hmmmm....What Iran needs to understand is that American Forces will ALWAYS be in the region as backup for ANY emerging democracies....Allah will just have to get used to this CENTURY's reality, and that means the USA will be PARKED in that area till the axis TILTS.....

John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and Howard Dean remind all of their subjects that talking points are now delivered from Tehran. (also remind us that we need to pay our UN Dues)

That Soros money really gets around.

You can win a war but you can't defeat an ideology. The Muslim belief system is not going anywhere, it's no more likely you could wipe out Judaism or Christianity.

The best we can do is give the newly installed government the means to keep the peace. They will have to figure out how to create a nation that is both civil and just with a populace that believes in the barbaric ideology of Islam.

You have to laugh at this moron. Losing is what Iran was good at when they went to war with Iraq. Years and years went by with little change in the front lines. We blitzed through like a hot knife through butter taking more territory quicker than any army in the history of warfare. They resort to the cowardly antics of desperate criminals, unable to respond with a uniformed army of their own and have the nerve to say they are winning rather than struggling in vain with much greater loses than we are.

It is clear from our actions that we are not trying to defeat the general belief system...just those who use their radical views to kill and threaten us...and OBTW, anyone else who does not agree with them, including other Muslims. That is what they are doing now by the hundreds, and it is a clear indication, IMHO, that they are losing.

The Iraqi people themselves are starting to get thoroughly PO'ed as they should. I expect soon to see radical, Al Quida terrorists swinging from light poles there.

IOW, I believe we are doing excactly what you indicated,

You can win a war but you can't defeat an ideology.

How many Nazis are there in the world today? How mant believers in the divine right of kings do you see running around? How much power do the militarists have in Japan?

What this war is all about is defeating an ideology.

I'll bring the popcorn! :-)

What we're seeing in Iraq today (160+ dead) is what the terrorist are all about death..destruction. Nothing positive all negative. It's all they have to offer, and why they are losing.

Completely correct, and I think the local population will dump that radical mindset like a hot potato in the years to come.....I mean seriously, do they think people will vote to remain backward, stuck in a loser mentality....
