Why Omni-sphere Domes?
It is our understanding that current concepts for long term housing for the victims of Katrina, who are financially unable to relocate on
their own, is mobile homes converted into barracks. Our plan is not only less expensive, safer, and reusable, it offers these victims some semblance of privacy. The omni-sphere dome.
More...Those victims that do not have the financial stability to set up residence in another city will need a place to live and restructure in order to relocate to a permanent residence. It is our recommendation that Dome Villages, of approximately 20-40 people each, be put in place on existing parking lots, military bases, and vacant land during this rehabilitation process. It would be wisest that each Dome Village be within walking distance of an area that has industry, places of worship, shopping, a police station, library, schools and medical facilities. This could be a Dome Business District or an existing township. This will help to provide gainful employment for the displaced. It is also our recommendation that government and private organizations take part in the same programs in place at the original Dome City in Los Angeles to help Katrina victims become self-sufficient.

AND BIG BUCKS IS HIS POCKET...(skeptical)
Why, so they can (again) fill it with shiz?
"I have yet to hear a sensible plan coming from city and state officials to aid displaced hurricane victims."
Thats because those same officials are too busy crying about the Federal dollars they are losing from all those military bases that have been closed.
Or maybe its too obvious!
Well, as temporary, emergency shelter, it's not so bad.
