What is a portable classroon?

Usually a trailer equipped for classroom use that can be moved to different schools to meet temporary needs.

Commonly referred to simply as "portables", they are semi-permanent individual classrooms that are brought in to relieve overcrowding. Wood, usually sent on cinderblocks. With A/C and heat.

I had classes in some in the mid 60's.
