This is a great video showing an intelligent evacuee brusing off Dean Reynolds from ABC
Bernard Goldberg has plenty of material for a sequel to "Bias."
Haha...that reporter was apparently frustrated with that woman.
This is priceless!
Anyone have a link to the full ABC smackdown video?
Heard the description on Rush a few minutes ago. It sounds hillarious. I am glad to hear that maybe these folks down in NO aren't quite out of it yet. In fact, given enough information and an outlet for it, they can probably kiss old Mayor Nagin goodbye in a recall vote! They seem to have a handle on who was responsbile for them. What is frustrating is how they folks on the bridge with Shep from Fox News didn't get it. Were these folks coached to react that way?
Even before the speech it started.
I missed the very first part but during the intro, before the prez was even on, the commentator said something to the effect that this was not the correct place to have this speech because energy was hard to come by in NO. I don't remember the words exactly but if somebody recorded it they could review and post the comments that took place before the speech even started. I am not even sure of the network but it was one of the big 3.
all I can say is ...
WOW!!!!!!!!
That is absolutely perfect!
Top sends

Right about the time I'd hearly given up all hope for America...along comes this little gem to revive my spirit. God grant that we may have more clear thinking such as this by Americans every where.
Not only that, but ABC had just spent the previous hour airing a criticism of the response where they repeatedly said that people were waiting for buses to take them out, but there were no buses. Their failure throughout that hour-long program to point out that there were dozens of buses in New Orleans that the City had failed to use was very obvious to anyone "in the know". Then, as they interviewed evacuees in Houston after the Prseident's speech, one of the first people questioned mentioned those buses and criticised the City's failure to use them - I just about fell off my chair! ABC tried their best, but nobody was willing to criticise Bush nor the Federal response. It was hilarious!
God bless that woman!
Oh, this is a BERY good day! :) Hearing what those people said after the Presidents speech last night was just beyond priceless! The libs tried again to repackage lies as the truth, and gave it their dead level best to sell it, and it didnt work. I didnt even bother watching any media after the speech, because the abc show before the speech was such an obvious hit piece to try and anger people before Bush even started talking. I LOVE IT when lies and manipulation fly back in the face of those who try to sell them. Its still early to make this kind of prediction, I know, but I really believe now that LA will be a redder than red state in the coming years. The people there know more than any of us the corruption of their LA gangster "government", the media cant convince them that the slow initial relief effort was Bushs fault when they know good and well whose fault it is. NOW, conservatism will be use in LA, and it will work. Like Rush said, conservatism WORKS, liberalism DOESNT, and its just that simple. The absence of the Soviet Union, the economic boom of the 90s, the rebound of the economy the past four years, and soon, the emergence of LA as a prospering bastion of modern conservative policy. Now its just time to do it and keep our boots on the liberals throat, where it belongs. The truth shall set you free, and if you try and bury it, it will bury you with your lies. This is very much enjoyable. :)
I love the part where she blames the local / state folks about 25 second in.
God speed to her and all that are down there suffering.
The MSM has done this country a great disservice in their reporting of probably the greatest natural disaster in our recorded history. I refuse to watch the coverage anymore. It is too early for me to endure the 2008 presidential campaign.
I listened to Rush for a the first hour this afternoon and he talked about this and played the tape.
Rush Limbaugh lead off his show with this today.
AWESOME!
