My guess would be they want the army to disband. :) Saying they support the troops is a huge lie.

We do not condone throwing things or violence of any kind. We have truth and respectability on our side. We don't need to resort to their tactics.
I can guarantee you that Gael Murphy was NOT quiet the Fri night that she crossed over to our side and got into a shouting/pissing contest with us.If you remember, a lady LEO finally told Gael to get back on the other side of the street where she belonged.

The only "sharp edge" we need is large numbers of patriots to stand in the streets and attend rallies to physically demonstrate our support of the troops and the President, rather than thousands of tough-talking keyboard warriers and a couple dozen folks actually out on the streets making a difference.
Ideally, they'd leave all our troops alone, but the wounded are especially vulnerable.

They don't care two cents about Walter Reed closing. They only care about themselves and their opinions.
BTW, Squeegee Boy got at least a talking to by a police officer tonight. Probably for playing in traffic, but I couldn't tell as they were across the street.
It's worse than that. This all boils down to their fear that the Bush administration is going to take away their "right" to have an abortion by appointing "originalists" to the Supreme Court. Nothing more. That's all this is about. Abortions.
Good to hear from you. I'll keep an eye out. SEIU is the union in D.C. that's most active in protesting here.
