A Medal of Honor recipient is entitled to take a salute from *anyone* in any branch that isn't a MoH recipient. The Joint Chiefs will have to salute this man.

I find it interesting that they actually got that detail right in the report.

That's a nonbinding tradition not a regulation/law.
