The Washington Post columnist's report suggests that Farrakhan's poisonous theory appears to have gained currency. Decades of welfare state mentality created by the 'Rats convince blacks of things that are counterproductive to them.

"These are reasonable, sober people who really believe that."
Look, Robinson, anyone who believe this nonsense is neither reasonable nor sober. Get that through your thick left wing head and then reassess EVERYTHING.

Between the lousy education system in Louisiana, the welfare state, and radical leftists telling them that whites hate them, I'm not surprised to read this.

You can say practically anything with a semi-serious face and at least 10% of the population will probably believe it.

As I compare and contrast this with the impromptu interview by an ABC reporter with Katrina refugees who refused to blame President Bush for anything and rightly placed blame on local officials in Louisiana, I highly doubt Robinson's report. It's more MSM manufacured news. What else is new?

What about the stories of the "Mother Wheel" that was seen hovering over the levees and firing photon torpedoes at them?

"These are not wild-eyed people," Robinson insisted. "These are reasonable, sober people who really believe that." Of course, this is New Orleans we are talking about so what qualifies as "reasonable" is relative.

What a shame. Even the dumbest of dumbest know that it was not just their area but a great portion of white areas that were flooded.
Lets be fair and show the faces of Lakeview, Bucktown, Old Metairie, St Bernard Parish. Mostly white. These areas lost a lot more.
Who is making most of the contributions to the Katrina funds? Bet the faces are white too.
What a shame.

No they are not. They are far from reasonable, in fact they are just the opposite. They are simply reasoning that this is the perfect time to show their true feelings towards white folks.

Damn, now I have to call my one of my best friends and tell him that he's black and all his inlaws are too. They all lost their homes in the Lakefront area.

Robinson is chuckling inside because he loves it when "reasonable" blacks believe what he wants them to believe.

This sounds a bit like the old idea that crack was a CIA plot to wipe out the black community.
What I find puzzling is why so many people are so willing to believe something that is so incredible.

They also believe water flows uphill.
Maybe 'reasonable' isn't the right word.
