You know, one thing I find interesting is that it's so easy to get under the skin of a Catholic. Remember, I was raised Catholic, so I know from whence you are coming...
All the best.

King David certainly wouldn't have been a good catholic...he wasn't even the best Hebrew when it came to observing the Mosaic laws...yet the Bible says his sins were forgiven and that he was "a man after God's own heart"...him a murderer of the husband of Bathsheba and guilty of adultery with her....David the ancestor of Jesus Christ...
The Catholics would have never granted him absolution(well maybe in the 15th century if he had paid enough indulgence money) but God surely did!

You're a fool. Either you never really believed in Church teaching in the first place as truth, meaning you can just shift Churches like seats at a dinner table since one's as good as another. Or you do believe the Church is/was the truth, and just because you didn't like one of those truths, you left. The former is almost excusable based on ignorance. The latter is inexcusable based on arrogance and selfishness.
BTW, here's what Jesus had to say on adultery. Go take it up with Him in the afterlife. I'm sure he'll come around to your way of thinking:
"But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery."
