Hey, I laughed out loud over this post. I love Free Republic, but I haven't been here in a while...
We had fun doing the math.... We just fixed some problems in the math that the ecologists/economists were using. They used the standard model for Wolves/Rabbits to model people and we worked some human behavior into it. I don't really know much archeology. There is more info on my web page. (Do a google search for "Basener".)
btw Seldon did predicted the work a long time ago.
I'm a conservative trapped in a liberal academic world! It's good to talk to right thinking people.
