He'd just better keep his paws off of Aishwariya Rai.

Wasn't Aishwaria Rai in "Bride and Prejudice"???

Mrs. LoneConservative is Anglo-Indian. Her Dad is From Bangalore, and left India to go to engineering school in England. He met a little blonde from Manchester, and the rest is history.

Over the past 4 years, I've gotten to know of a lot about "Bollywood". Some of the movies are really good- Some, you have to know all of the inside cultural details. We just watched "Second Generation, a BBC production about 2 families- (One Hindu, one Muslim) who own a frozen food business. Lots of big time Indian actors, plus Parminder Nagra, from "Bend it Like Beckham", and "ER".

After watching a rather steamy love scene betwen Nagra and the Muslim boy she wasn't allowed to marry, I commented that "Parminder has some nice Samosas"... Mrs LC wasn't amused.
