With the status of politics today I don't think we'll ever se a unanimous SOTUS confirmation again. Who was the last? I know Scalia was confirmed 98-0 and one of the two Senators who didn't vote was Barry Goldwater.
I think Kennedy was also approved unanimously (but remember he was Reagan's third choice for the spot vacated by Lewis Powell)
Not until a Dem Pres nominates one..Then Lott and Hatch will bring the rest of the Pubbies back into line like they did with Ginsberg....
