My wife's family was as wonderful as wonderful can be during the whole time she was sick and her mom stayed with me and the boys for a couple of months after she passed to help us keep it together. No one could have better in-laws and that was just another blessing God gave us (mom and her daughters were at the deathbed when that time came caring for their beloved Arlene.) Mom and my sisters in law and husbands live across the Lake and my boys and I spend Christmas and Thanksgiving with them though the elder is in the Navy so his presence is not guaranteed.
They have met several of the ladies I have dated in the eight years since Arlene left and do not object to them. Of course, these are all estimable women who would not upset reasonable people anyway. Unlike opportunistic bimbos.
Future love should not be ruled out and in no way diminishes the love you have for Michele. We are told God is Love hence rejecting Love rejects God and we need all we can get. When that time comes I am sure you will approach it with a healthy perspective.
Prayers for John and his family. So sorry for your loss.
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers go out to you, your daughter, and friends.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support
I just saw this post today and would like to express my sorrow over the loss of this precious wife and mother. John, I pray that the Lord sustains you and your daughter during this difficult time. May you feel the prayers of believers holding you up to our Mighty God who loves you very much.
Thank you Faith. Please remember Autumn and I in your prayers (Andie too). I know that the prayers of many are working as we are getting through this somehow
