Trial Postponed for Mass. Dad Fighting Homosexual Curriculum at Son's School

September 21, 2005

(AgapePress) - The trial of Massachusetts parent David Parker, which was originally scheduled to take place today (September 21), has been postponed. The Lexington man was arrested in April after he attempted to get his son opted out of homosexuality discussions in school.

According to Brian Camenker of the Massachusetts pro-family group Article 8 Alliance, the main issue for Parker is that the Lexington School District has banned him from all school property. Camenker says he believes the school district is just using bullying tactics. But at the same time, the district attorney involved in the case is running for State Attorney General. Camenker feels the D.A. does not want to make "a big deal" of this case.

"They want to figure out some way of doing a plea bargain," the Alliance spokesman says, "but David Parker's lawyers insist that, unless this whole business of this no-trespass order is addressed, they're not going to agree to anything."

The no-trespassing order being imposed against Parker by the school district prevents him from setting foot on any Lexington Schools property, including coming onto school grounds to pick his son up from school, using school-owned walking paths where he used to take his son for recreation, and going to polling places on school property.

Parker feels the ban is unnecessary, and that it is being imposed largely to be hurtful. He had hoped the matter would be addressed in the trial originally scheduled for today, and that the ban might be lifted. However, that proceeding has been stalled because of the head of the school district.

"The Superintendent of Schools has said he hasn't had time to make a decision yet," Camenker points out. "Now, one has to think, it's been all summer. It's been in the news. How can he not make a 10-minute decision? But this is what he claims."

Camenker says the judge in Parker's case has given the superintendent one more month to decide whether to keep the no-trespass order in place, or whether to discontinue the ban preventing the Lexington dad from setting foot on school grounds.

A civil rights approach would not work. The gaysbians claim that THEIR cause is about "civil rights", and that's what the press and the pundits believe and publish.

This case has attracted national attention (including on FR)--it's not just about Massachusetts!! Gaysbian teachers and school administrators claim, "we're legal now" because of "gay marriage". (So much for the BOGUS claim that same-sex "marriage" "doesn't threaten heterosexual marriage", etc.) But the basic truth is that small children are just not ready to learn about the gaysbian world before they know thing one about heterosexual sex.

Nevertheless, gaysbian teachers and activists want to indoctrinate and sexualize children from an early age. That is just plain satanic!!!!

No, it will be a reality. The lack of passion about social issues in the conservative community is shocking. I think conservatives have been indoctrinated.

So, who has put together an aid fund for this man and his family to support him, especially when he loses his job.

The principal will lose his job? That would be great news, and send a message.

No the father will lose his job. Just wait and see.

Civil Rights issues do work here. When one gives it back religious rights trump...so far.

I don't know what the father does for a living. If he's in the private sector he may not. Public sector, odds are against him.

Having watched organized homosexuals boycott and attack a private sector business when the employee's wife tried to fight back was an education for me.

He lost his job for not many small or medium sized and darn few large companies can stand that sort of assault.

He didn't violate any order, he hasn't been to the school since it happened.

Maybe that's not what you meant??

Sorry, I was mistaken. I am not sure on what ground they are trying to prosecute him.

Exactly. If all the decent people retreat out of the public square, we leave it to the trouble makers to run our schools and our country.

Some might say, OK, they made their bed, now let them lie on it. But that's nonsense. Schoolchildren are innocent victims of their teachers, and they don't deserve to be brainwashed. That goes for the children of politically correct idiots as well as anyone else. They deserve the chance to be exposed to a little reality and learn to make up their own minds as they grow up.

I admire you, and all the other right-minded people in Massachusetts. I'm thinking I couldn't live there and would get my family out of there someway, somehow. Then again, if it was my home state, that might be difficult. I just can't figure out how you guys lost control of your state to what is it they say, 2% of the population are the lesbos and the shitty dicks? Un-freakin-believable.

Am I missing something here, or is the "school property" really public property? How in the *&%^ can a public school keep a citizen from stepping onto public property?? It's not like he went in trying to shoot the place up. This is just insane!

I don't know anything about an aid program, but it is a concern, especially in MA.

Perhaps we should check with his blog site, which you can access through article8.org.

Solely on the grounds that he refused to leave. It's harassment, pure and simple. The activists in MA, who are deeply embedded in the schools, fight ANY resistance, tooth and nail.
