if you can't cash a check - like a welfare check - without a photo id, how can the dems claim that the poor don't have such things?
kinds of a specious argument and they need to be called on it.

Didn't Carter come out VENEMOUSLY against photo ID?
He may be part of the panel but he is not against fraud.

I would add the requirement that one be a legal citizen of the United States, speak English, Show a photo ID, be photographed, and state the Pledge of Allegiance completely before allowing them to put their vote in the box.
The last part would eliminate half the liberals from voting.

Do it!
I hope this finally lets the dead voters rest in peace. Card-Carrying, Pinko-Commie-Liberals, only get to vote once like everyone else!

Dean and Clinton have this Washington Governess in mind who never was factually elected but won after votes popped up in insufficient amounts after one recount, but enough after the second.
This scheme even held up in court regardless of the fact that after votes were "found" that exceeded the number of registered voters.
IDs? Who wants or needs them.

"Bill Clinton claims that voters IDs are part of "efforts to restrict access to the vote"
that's right. It would discriminate against dead voters, multiple voters, illegal immigrants and other fraudulent voters.
How could we EVER let that happen!!! /sarcasm off

Not all the Democrats on the Carter-Baker commission endorsed the photo-ID plank, Tell these morons that photo IDs would prevent the Republicans from stealing another election.
That would get their attention.
