Not to be a party-pooper, but Hollywood also made some cowboy movies where the Indians were the good guys and the sheriff was the bad guy. Since the value of irony as a plot device seems to escape you, perhaps you should write your next column exposing Hollywood's blatantly obvious hatred of all sheriffs?

Why, the very thought that there is now or could ever have been an such a thing as a bad flight attendant or a good Muslim is so ridiculous that...well, who could ever think something so silly, right? Right???

Your irony-as-a-plot-device theory would fly better with me if Hollywood had a track record of producing movies where the Muslims were the bad guys. Let's see.... the last one they did was..... Hmmm. Must be the late hour; I can't think of any.
