The Bush/Bolton/Rice diplomacy has been amazingly successful...so much so that the corrupt news media resists talking about much of it.

Our nuclear deal with India earlier this year no doubt persuaded the great subcontinent to vote with us instead of with the jihadists who are killing Indians in Kashmir...greatly confusing the left-wing press (because they are accustomed to India reflectively voting against the U.S.).

Also in play is that the U.S. is backing India's ascension to the permanent UN Security Counsel (i.e. a UN Veto).

I have ALWAYS (For YEARS) wanted India to move at least to a neutral position vis-a-vis Iran, and ideally to a pro-US stance.

Finally, so happy to see it actually happen in such a short order.
