It took me 10 days to clean my son's room when he left.......and another day to paint it a lovely spring green and rose pink.
Dear Son,
Papa and I will be up for Parent's Weekend next Saturday. Please dispose of the pizza boxes, run the vaccuum and remember to find out where the library is before we arrive.

LMAO! My dear son was going back to NIU after summer break and I sent him some food in a plastic storage container. I said I wanted the container back the next time he came home. Oh, he brought it back alright. Never cleaned it out, just kept it under his bed til he came home. When he did come home I had him put out in the trash. It was awful. Good thing he's married now and has a wife with a stronger stomach. LOL!
Whoa! I hate that. Thankfully my son doesn't leave food items in his room anymore. He's more messy than dirty.
And so I don't go to mommy hell for talking bad about my boy, he does do all his own laundry, takes out the trash, and is a whiz at scrubbing the floors and cleaning the bathrooms. I don't have to do that anymore. However, I do still have to remind him to do it. I'm beginning to think that males don't see the dirt the way we do.
