I think you meant to say the government takes money to make money.

Blaming Bush for hikes in spending, and giving Newt's congress credit for Clinton's surplus; typical liberal doublespeak.

Let's face it, the era of small government is over. Dimwits, having all but accused Dubya of generating Katrina, have guaranteed that never again will any person, municipal, or state entity be responsible for anything having to do with recovering from any man-made or natural disaster.

The end result of irrational Bush hating, and demagoguery aimed at tarnishing the president at every opportunity will be more and more big government intrusion into every aspect of our daily lives. We'll have the socialist Democrats to thank for the irreparable damage the past five weeks have wrought on federalism and individual liberty.

No, President Bush is not a Socialist. The congress and their pork barrel spending are the Socialists. He is the executive branch of our government and the congress are the theives. He is directed by the United States Constitution to do what the elected legistlature directs him to do. Wake up and read the United States Constitution, it's not that long and it doesn't take a college degree to understand it.

"it takes money to make money."

If that is the case, then why not turn over all of our money to the government?
