I was never a liberal by today's standards, but was certainly a democrat. I voted for who know who, twice, and then voted for Gore. So what happened to me? 9/11 happened. That's what changed my entire way of thinking more than anything else. When I voted and supported Clinton, I thought he was a baby boomer like me, he had to be good for us. Thought the same for Gore. I've watched my former party spiral into the ground, being run by the nuts at moveon etc. Those groups were never a focus before the last 5 or 6 years. The democrat party I belonged to would NEVER hold a sign that called for the castration of the Vice President of the United States as I saw at the so called anti war protest. That's not the party I belonged to, and it sickens me. The media doesn't want anyone to know...there are so many of us, we're quiet, we don't protest, we don't talk politics with everyone we know but at the ballot box, we make the right decision, and we're becoming republicans.
We're also never polled. Funny how it works that way.
