We need to think of something that totes up the numbers on our side. I can't quite decide what that should be, but something which allows the left to bray about how they got more numbers than we did is NOT the right venue!
I think some value came of the rallys
Our team was on message though small in number.
The other Guys were a dissparate group of rabble rousers with messages all over the place. You could actualy see that many attending were embaressed. DU is fretting over the communist and Anti American messages that were sent.
Lets focus on the messages of the two rallys. lets use their own exposure against them
I agree...in fact, I have been thinking about that all afternoon....we can never compete with their numbers, since we are employed, have families, kids in school and just cannot take off and head to DC for one of these events, especially on a Sun afternoon....I guess that is why we are considered to be the silent majority.....if you can think of a way, let me know.
We need to think of something that totes up the numbers on our side.
One suggestion - expose the truth.
Signs that read "the anti-war crowd are paid and bused in." Gee, sounds like we are talking about an election here! It will explain their large number as opposed to the 'legitimate' grass root endeavor.
BINGO
We need to think of something that totes up the numbers on our side. I can't quite decide what that should be, but something which allows the left to bray about how they got more numbers than we did is NOT the right venue!
This comes to mind ...
THE GLENN BECK PROGRAM
National Rally for America
I wasn't able to drive 5 hours down to DC today, because I have small kids and no one to watch them ..
But when Glen came to my area (Valley Forge) during this tour, I was able to go .. my oldest daughter even came with me

Yep, he's a circus act, for himself.
There are a number of more effective ways to support the troops. The Pentagon Federal Credit Union has a program that directly supports wounded troops and their families. All the money goes to buy voice activated laptops for those who lost their hands, to defray the cost of having their families close to WRAMC or Brooke in Texas while they recover and other efforts that are immediately felt. You can donate a number of ways in any amount.
