Has anything like this ever happened before/ Does the school accept children who don't practice christianity?

My brother is superintend of a Christian school in the same area. They asked a sheik child to not wear his head dress as it violated the school dress codes. The parents took the school to court under the freedom of religion garble.
The judge told them it was a private school and the school could set its own rules.
It was appealed and appealed and appealed. It cost the school a fortune.
My brother said even if they lost at the last level he would go to jail rather than cave on principle. The parents finally gave up after losing every appeal.
It is my hope the "mock" parents of this girl do not attempt to do the same to Ontario Christian.

"...My uncle and aunt both teach there."Would you ping me if you find out more about this story from them?

Personally, I think they did the right thing. Yes, it is not the child's fault, but neither is it the fault of anyone else at the school And if the child is accepted, then the "parents" can demand equal treatment as other parents. It would be a mess. And they would demand sensitivity and all the rest.
The parents and the child need to hear the truth, but when you sign up for a Christian school then you need to adhere to their beliefs and standards. They received the truth in this incident. What they do about it is their choice.

Its a private school so they can set their own rules on admissions but i dont agree with it at all.The girl herself is not gay so she is completly blameless in this situation even if she wanted to she couldnt get her "parents" to sleep with men so she should not be punished for her "parents sexuall orientation.Someone on another comment said love the sinner not the sin but she isnt the sinner here and she is getting treated like it.
drunkeness is one of the seven deadly sins will they go through the trash of every parent of every student in school looking for jack daniels and coors beer bottles and expell every student of alchoholic parents ?
