While I'm no fan of the AMA, do you have any facts to back up your statement? I'd like to hear them.
This is not directed to anyone in particular, but I'm always amazed to see the attitudes on this board toward physicians. Most MD's are hard working, conservative small business owners, just the type of working folks that you would think those who read Free Republic would be supportive of.
My knowledge came from dating a med student for several years. I suspect that those who want National Health insurance have also conspired to undermine the strongly Republican. businessmen physicians with foreigners who seem to like the idea of working for the government.
