Scripture is clear that Jesus was accused of hanging out with tax collectors and 'sinners'. Matthew's gospel comes immediately to mind.

One can hang out with someone in the hopes of bringing them the good news and still have a problem with their behavior. I am sure that Jesus was not thrilled that the woman at the well was living with someone who was not her husband, but he still engaged her on a level that she could understand, loving her.

Scripture also points out many times that Christ was not "hanging out" he was eatting and drinking with them. Remember this was a sticking point with the Pharesees.....yet he was without sin...

"...but he still engaged her on a level that she could understand, loving her."

Yes, He did. And she responded by believing, witnessing and sending Him more believers. That was after just a few minutes with Him.

Gray and Clark, after many years of opportunity to do the same, are as defiant and unrepentant as ever, continuing to teach their child that homosexuality is morally acceptable to God -- while signing an Article of Faith agreement they are clearly not in accord with.

The woman at the well abandoned her water jar for the living water Jesus promised.

This is a tough issue. Jesus did hang out with sinners (good thing, maybe HE will hang out with me, despite my sin-- although not the sin of homosexuality). But Jesus saw sin for what it is, SIN... wrongful behavior. He also said to the woman at the the well to go and sin NO MORE.

So, I believe we should not hesitate to bring the gospel of Christ to all who will hear, and not judge them. At the same time, however, we should shield our children from perversion, especially the young ones. It is not fair to have to explain why this child has "two mommies." The school is within its rights, and I guess those rights were properly exercised.

How do you think these "mommies" would respond to "Go and sin no more."????

Scripture is clear that Jesus was accused of hanging out with tax collectors and 'sinners'.

Because he was trying to change their sinful ways.

I pay good money every month to make certain my kids are educated by people who believe the Bible is God's Holy Word. The public schools ridicule my beliefs and actually teach concepts that are completely contrary to the Word of God. I chose to pay extra to have them educated in God's wisdom. I would expect the school administrators to carry-out enforcement of school rules regarless of whether the pagan world agrees with our views. The family should be expelled. They broke the rules willfully and assumed nobody would notice or care.
