Any John McCain presidential campaign is DOA. I hope he understands that. He served our country honorably, but has reduced himself to pawn status for the liberal media all in the name of keeping himself in the headlines.

He said it had been misrepresented to him as including some of his constituents. Only one person in Sheehan's small delegation had ties to Arizona, and that person no longer lives there. What a dolt. I can't believe he fell for that lie.
Only one of her many pathological lies at that.

"Yep, he is just another media whore."
Nothing more and nothing less; principally, it was a non-partisan meeting of media whores.

He said it had been misrepresented to him as including some of his constituents. Only one person in Sheehan's small delegation had ties to Arizona, and that person no longer lives there. What a transparent sack of crap he is. As if he's so overwhelmingly solicitous of his constituents, that he was going to meet with this nutbag for the sake of one Arizona resident. He's such a putrid fraud.

I will NEVER vote for him. I don't think he's qualified to be President cause he doesn't respect the Constitution. And he could care less what the base of our party thinks.

If you can be fooled by Cindy Sheehan, you don't belong in the Oval Office.

Amen.
This story by McCain is a total lie.
You are telling me that his LA's (Legislative Assistants) didn't tell him that Cindy Sheehan was sitting in the waiting room?
McCain knew exactly what he was doing.

I'm willing to meet you half way.

Cindy is stupid in taking on the media darling of the Senate. The press knows Cindy's 15 minutes is up, so they'll choose McCain over her.

I'm not a fan of McCain and in the past I've said I wouldn't vote for him. But his explanation, that he agreed to meet because he believed there were AZ constituents in tow with Sheehan, seems reasonable. He pretty much blasted her on Sean's show yesterday, suggesting she was a nut and that he was sorry he met with her.
As far as my not being a McCain fan, I'll tell you what--he's a "fur piece" better than any Dem., and I'll happily vote for him if he wins the nomination. And at this critical point in time I won't damage him by bashing the crap out of him the way some are doing here. Someone called him a "traitor." That's insane and not worthy of FR.
