CAIRO, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas urged Arab countries to refrain from establishing relations with Israel until it pulls out from territory captured in 1967.
Speaking at a news conference Wednesday at the seat of the Arab League in Cairo, Abbas said, "Arab countries are sovereign states and act in a sovereign ways, but there are Arab agreements to which all Arab countries are committed."
An Arab peace initiative launched at an Arab summit in Beirut in 2002 linked normalizing Arab relations with Israel to the latter's withdrawal from Arab territories captured in the 1967 war and the creation of an independent Palestinian state.
Earlier this month, Bahrain said that an Israeli trade office will be opened in Manama as the United Arab Emirates canceled legislation banning the entry of Israeli goods.
Israel has diplomatic relations with Egypt, Jordan and Mauritania and opened interest sections in Qatar, Oman, Tunisia and Morocco.

Israel should bomb them continuously 24/7 until the last Palestinian knuckles under. These people are nothing but the scum of the earth. After seeing them dancing in the streets after 9-11, Israel could nerve gas the whole f-ing lot of them and I'd sleep WELL that night.

Arab countries know the gig is up now that their bitch Arafat is dead. They no longer have him in the news every day romanticizing killing and suicide bombing. Arafat died and there was no palestinian state made and Israel wasn't pushed into the sea. A lot of their aid money ended up in Suhu Arafats bank accounts. Its like they are all waking up with a major hangover of their own creation.
Abbas doesnt walk around in some dictator outfit yelling "Jihad, jihad, jihad". There is no one to fill the void. Now the palestinians are turning on each other and making a complete embarrassment of all the arabs who predicted some glorious state would instantly appear.
All you see is pictures of people looting anything they can get their hands on.
Egpyt is in complete panic mode trying to figure out how they are going to manage the border themselves and keep the 6 million uneducated inbred suicidal hillbillies out of their country.
I thought when you won a war and the losers were defeated the winner got the spoils; refresh my memory, didn't the mighty Arab nations attack Israel and lose in 1967, just like other european countries fought and won and kept the land. (Oh I forgot that rule does not apply to JEWS!!!!)

It deepened my disgust with Arab governments, and with the sick mix of stupidity and malice in Arab culture.
If Israel ever agrees to pull back to the 1967 lines, they'll just face redoubled terrorism and new demands that they pull back to their lines in 1948. It's a bad idea.
