First he's hard fighting in Afghanistan. He pulls out of battle, parachutes into hostile Iraq, "fights the insurgents"
Bitches about what an F--- illegal war it is and tells everyone to vote for Kerry BEFORE he's even won the Democratic nomination(remember it was Dean before Kerry) then transfers back to Afghanistan where he is mysteriously killed by his own troops.
Who is the historian on this? That Brinkley fellow who wrote Kerry's alleged Bio?

Tillman was killed in April of 2004, By then Kerry had sewn up the nomination. Dean dropped out in February, John Edwards in early March.
